First thing you'll notice, the game only supports a specific resolution in a window or fullscreen. No inbetweens. It does have controllersupport and soundsettings, but thats it. Pretty simple stuff, but it doesn't really need much more. You can't customize your buttonlayout, gotta do that through Steam itself. I would have prefered different resolutions as I usually play my games in a 1600x900 window. The game itself is pretty simple but cute. When firing your weapon, you get a knockback, which feels nice when firing downward to drop down slower or get a tiny bit higher of a jump! But when firing up, you'll have backwards knockback as if you're firing forward? That doesn't make any sense, there should be no knockback in that case imo. I would also really like a map, or level select? Anything? Something that helps me collect everything. There is an achievement for all the yellow eyes collected. I am missing one eye. Why do I have to play through the entire game again, if I missed it somewhere at the end? Let me pick a level and show me in which level something is missing. I'm glad I was gifted this, because I would've asked for a refund if I didn't. With so many quality indie platformers on Steam, even ones made by a single person, I can't recommend this game in good conscience. It's ugly, it's boring, the story is bad, the boss fights are very tedious and not challenging. Having such a short time to fire before your shots weaken, even after upgrades is such an awful design. If you really need your Mega Man fix, go play an actual Mega Man game or better yet, go play a good Mega Man fangame, which won't cost you anything and will still be more enjoyable than OmegaBot.

I played 10 minutes...the design of cheap enemies, miss a jump and you miss an alternate route that you can't go back and retry without starting the level. In 10 minutes. Im just getting used to the mechanics and the starts to throw all this crap at you, no thanks.

The game's premise is pretty cool, being that you're a robot built to save the world from a mysterious plague that turns living beings into lifeless robots. And I love pixel-based 2D platformers like these. However, despite my sincere desire to enjoy this game, there are several factors that drag down the overall experience for me. - You can only have one save file, and you cannot start a new game unless you finish the current one or delete the .sav file yourself. - If you want to return to an earlier part of the game (let's say, if you missed a collectible), you cannot do that either, as there is no chapter select option. - The game also gets really difficult at times. You might die a lot due to challenging platforming, bosses with tricky attack patterns, or simply due to a lack of skill. - You might encounter bugs and glitches everywhere, such as the sides of the screen freezing when performing certain actions, sprites overlapping incorrectly, rain appearing inside buildings, etc. This is coming from someone who played [i] Missing Banban [/i] (which is practically a re-skinned version of this game), so I knew what I was getting into. It's an alright platformer, but as it keeps going it just starts to really feel like you're going through the motions. Each level feels a bit too long for how little there is to do in a lot of them, and enemies start becoming obnoxious towards the end. The only interesting thing it has going for it doesn't feel like it's fully realized in this game. You can stun things if you land enough hits on them, but it really only matters for bosses. And it can be fun to do on some bosses, but the issue is how fast it can tick down on some. With the final boss I felt like if I just got a bad pattern I had wasted all my previous shots. Honestly I think this would've been better if it was just a boss rush, though with some of the annoying minibosses I don't know if I think that fully would help. Dull levels, annoying enemies, and awkward controls really let this one down unfortunately.
