In the game, you have to constantly wait for certain events to happen, but there is no way to somehow rewind or speed up this time, so you end up just sitting and looking at the monitor doing nothing, it's incredibly stupid4 found this helpful

One of the best Mafia style games that lets you build your criminal empire through strategy and when the time comes switch to offence with turn based top down action !.
Omerta is great if you want a light mix of tactical TBS similar to Xcom but much easier, and slow RTS empire building that focuses more on story. Its got a nice prohibition era feel with appropriate music and art. It may not satisfy all the hardcore strategy fans but its loads of fun for what it is. And Kalypso puts out a lot of stuff like this which is fun but not necessarily awesome or epic.
