Warning: Asset Flip!
One Chance is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", GamesForFarm/Gamesforgames, took the I Hate Fingers game assets from the real developers, Fox Game Studio, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. GamesForFarm/Gamesforgames has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Well, it works I guess. This is obviously a mobile game shoehorned onto PC. You can clearly see it by the vertical (ugh) play area. Anyway, you dodge incoming obstacles with your mouse. I hate that you have to hold left click, because it's kind of unnecessary. Perhaps a remnant of mobile games, where you'd have your finger on the screen all the time anyway? The visuals are okay for what they are. Nothing special. The music gets annoying quickly. I think the game knows that, which is why it only plays four loops and cuts out afterwards. Perhaps the silence is a blessing in disguise. Since I quickly lost interest, I did the only reasonable thing left and went out of bounds. Wait what? Yes, you can, in fact, leave the play area and just never die until you let go of the left mouse button. But it gets better. If you start the game, then alt-tab while your mouse is outside of the play area, you can freely let go of the left mouse button, allowing you to get an arbitrarily high score. Anyway, this game costs TEN EUROS!? It's a free mobile game at most. Who are you trying to rip off!? And don't give me the "It's for sale every time" nonsense. The listed price is 10€, so it will be t…
