One Day of an Insurance Agent

One Day of an Insurance Agent is a 2D mobile/Flash/browser tier collection of minigames and puzzles themed around the life of an insurance salesman. Puzzles involve things like arranging tiles to make a photo, negotiating mazes to find your way to your destination, reflex/puzzle mazes to escape your boss to avoid doing reports and so on. This isn't so badly put together, but the nature of the game as a collection of 2D/browser tier puzzles makes me think this wasn't designed for PC gaming enthusiasts. Resolution is locked and can't be changed. The artwork is okay but not winning any awards. This might do better on the web or on mobile. While this is free, it's only released for free to allow the developer to get free software testing while they may or may not develop the rest of the game (It's in Steam Early Access, and from my considerable experience, more games die there than proceed to a full release). Due to the browser/mobile nature of the game, I can't recommend this to PC gamers, I don't think it's the correct target audience.

One Day of an Insurance Agent is a psychological horror title that takes one of the most ordinary settings imaginable and slowly transforms it into something deeply disturbing. Instead of relying on haunted houses, grotesque creatures, or nonstop violence, the game builds fear through routine, exhaustion, and the emotional emptiness of office life. The premise sounds deceptively simple at first, following an insurance employee trying to make it through another normal workday, but the experience gradually descends into surreal psychological horror as reality begins to fracture around the protagonist. The result is a strange and uncomfortable journey that feels less focused on traditional scares and more interested in creating emotional tension and existential dread. The game’s biggest strength is its atmosphere. From the opening moments, the office environment feels sterile, repetitive, and emotionally draining. Long hallways, dim fluorescent lighting, lifeless workspaces, and awkward interactions with coworkers create an overwhelming sense of discomfort. The game is infested with minigames, which are not fun at all. It's recycling ideas like jigsaw, put in order, find route in maze, etc. You barely read few sentences and then bam! Minigame. And so many absurd ones! Of course you can skip those, but... only with mouse. Game does not support keyboard controls and not everyone likes to mash buttons on mouse.
