NMNE

NMNE is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The Russian "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template with a remarkably familiar apartment building asset, and submitted it to Apple and Google as if they're real game developers. Turns out Apple and Google don't filter for asset flips either, just like Valve. Regardless, this asset flip features boldly on the app stores and was designed primarily as a mobile app. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the mobile app, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This mobile app fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. Got it from a cheap bundle. For 8 bucks this thing is not recommendable, you can find some free horrors that are better

This is a very short game that you can easily finish in one sitting. It features a few good jump scares, though it doesn't get overwhelmingly scary. I found myself repeating some parts due to multiple deaths, but that felt more like the result of wonky sections rather than a lack of skill. Despite these hiccups, the game remains fun—especially if you're not looking for a terrifying experience that makes you pee your pants! Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Sucks. No saves... and sudden death... without even understanding any reason why? One death was perfectly enough to ditch the game and not recommending it to anyone.

Hit a wall that I can't be sure is even solvable, so I'm dropping the game partially finished. Plenty of jump scares, there's also some absurdist horror in there. If you're a hard core horror nut then sure maybe give it a go, but I don't think this will provide anything for general audiences .
