[後半に日本語レビューあり]
Deckbuilding × jigsaw in a comical detective-style H puzzle
Jigsaw “pieces” are dealt as cards, and the player uses a deck of “tool cards” to rotate or swap them and solve the board. As puzzles are solved, anime-style CGs appear, blending the intuitive fun of jigsaw with the strategy of deckbuilding. The story is a detective drama that follows a certain case. The truth is revealed through a setting where “photo reconstruction = puzzle solving.” Deck adjustments through shop purchases and discarding unnecessary cards are introduced, giving strategic play value even in a casual format. Rewards are limited to “nudity only,” but the cute CGs with animation combined with the deckbuilding system create a strangely engaging experience. Despite its simple structure, it offers the pleasure of puzzle solving and deck optimization in short sessions.
Relaxing Puzzles, Spicy Rewards 😉
I didn’t expect much going in, but wow, this game surprised me in the best way. Only Cards takes the familiar “deck builder” formula and fuses it with a jigsaw puzzle twist that’s both clever and addictive. Instead of battling monsters, you’re battling scattered pieces of… let’s just say “very motivating” images. heh. The puzzles are relaxing yet challenging enough to keep you engaged, and the variety of tool cards really lets you experiment with different strategies. There’s no timer pressure, which makes the whole experience super chill. Imagine taking your precious time piecing everything together at your own pace. And of course, the rewards are absolutely worth it!! The CGs are cute, sexy, and a little cheeky without crossing into over-the-top territory. Each of the girls has her own charm and personality, which makes unlocking their art feel more rewarding than just eye candy. If you enjoy puzzle games with a creative twist, and you don’t mind your puzzles coming with some spicy bonuses, this one’s a no-brainer. Highly recommended for puzzle fans who want something lighthearted, relaxing, and a bit naughty on the side.1 found this helpful
I played Only Cards and my feeling is mixed. The main idea is clever and fun, but some parts of the game feel not so good. First, the good part. The mix of deck building and puzzle is great. Making a strong deck feels very satisfying when it helps you solve puzzles faster. Some cards make pieces pixelated, which is a quite funny. I really enjoy this part. But, I have some critiques. The biggest problem is the puzzle difficulty. Some puzzles are very hard to solve. The pieces are very similar in color. Even when I use all my hint cards, I still sometimes just guess where pieces go. The game needs more powerful tool cards. Also, the art quality is not consistent. For a game about the pictures, I expected better. Some arts look a little cheap and not very detailed. The story is comedy and it is a bit crazy. You are a detective trying to solve very unusual case. Interactions with only-simp girls are quite funny, especially when you've already seen them half-naked in front of the camera. It made me smile. But it is just a silly reason for the puzzles, don't expect much. Final Thought: I like the core of this game a lot. But the hard puzzles and cheap art make it difficult…
