About Outsanity

Description: In Outsanity, you awaken on unsettling confines of a building shrouded in mystery. With no memory of how you arrived, your only guide is the pulsing fear that tells you something is deeply wrong. This place is a labyrinth of secrets, and you must unearth the truth that lies buried within its walls.

Gameplay Features:
 • Explore: Navigate through the eerie corridors and rooms. Each step could be a clue or a trap.
 • Solve Puzzles: Engage with the environment to solve intricate puzzles that require more than just intellect; they demand courage.
 • Stealth Mechanics: Move silently, as the creatures lurking in the shadows have senses as sharp as their teeth. The sound of your footsteps or an interacted object can be your undoing.
 • Interact: Pick up objects that may aid in your escape or reveal the history of this place.
 • Survive: Stay out of sight and out of reach. Use hiding spots to evade the monsters that hunt you.

Story: Imprisoned in a structure that defies reason, you must piece together the fragments of your past and the building’s history. But beware, for the monsters are listening, and they are drawn to every sound you make. Will you uncover the truth and still sane?

However, every shadow in the game is immensely pixelated for some reason, this got quite annoying to look at since the quality in general is pretty good. Also game seems to have no anti aliasing implemented, might be related to the shadows too, all edges are super pixelated. Quickly after leaving the menu and loading in to the actual game, I realized how utterly janky and poorly tested the game unfortunately is. I am aware that it is released in Early Access, but it felt more like an alpha-stage, honestly. While learning the game, I had to "restart from last checkpoint" and lose progress more than 10 times, since getting stuck at "inspecting" papers (yes, the papers that hold key information for progression, can't be skipped) is a thing. I had to adapt and learn not to look at all the papers - only the ones I knew held information from previous runs. I experienced the same th…
