While there are fun parts of this game, I just can't recommend in it good faith. The initial tower climb of 50 floors was fun, and had pretty solid pacing. Maxing out the upgrades from that initial climb was also fairly simple. it created a good loop of upgrades, push floors, change equipment, repeat. But once you hit the floors after? I've been farming legendary drops for 2 hours and still don't have a single loadout filled. They are just WAY too rare. I have over a billion gold and nothing I can do with it because in order to level up drops, or re roll them into what I want, I would have to be able to get them first. I also can't finish all of the floors in the over area because I can't get enough legendary gear to carry me through, the damage is just too low with some legendary some epic. It feels like a glaring oversight, or I just have the worst luck in existence, either could be true. If you want to just jump in for 50 floors and a quick hour experience? I'd say go for it. But if you want to see all the content the game has to offer, prepare for an unnecessary slog of farming equipment for many, many, many hours of idle gameplay.2 found this helpful
It's fun for a short time, when new mechanics open up ... but there is no strategy or build possibility ... just increase all stats and hope for good drops from the rng ... after about 2 hours, you reach the "final" stage and to this point, everything is so easy, that it's boring ... and after that, either you have luck to get legendaries ... or you are stuck ... sorry, can't recommend this game1 found this helpful
This is a cute little incremental game. It's designed with a bit of a smaller scale in mind (aka you'll kinda never really go full auto ((although there's definitely a few builds you can do that would probably work fine without player input)) But it works really well as just a little game you can beat in a few hours. I personally beat the base 50 floors in an hour, the bonus floors in another hour, and then the score attack and endless achievements in another hour and a half for 100% in 3.5 hours. The build variety isn't exactly the strongest aspect of the game, but what's present is neat. There's a softcap of 200% more range on all your attacks that you can hit within the first few floors and it feels really weird with how much higher the other caps go. Until the end of the base floors it's basically all entirely just number go up, but afterwards you'll get some more actually different effects, but that might still be lacking for some people because it doesn't go very far with them. I think it's fun and interesting enough to spend your time on, and for it's price I wasn't disappointed or anything.
A decent game if you get it on sale. Gets a bit stale about half way as there are no systems outside of looting, upgrading the items or re-rolling their stats. Seems abandoned, no updates or communication from the developer for many months.
Would recommend this game overall but it has its flaws. The main one for me is that the progression gets stale at the end but that is expected for this kind of game. If you are looking for a short incremental clicker type game then try this one out.
