Players appreciate this game as a heartfelt, emotionally resonant experience with a touching story that stands out from typical releases, though some found it simple and short. However, critics point out significant issues including confusing level design and navigation, poor technical execution using basic Unreal templates, unattractive visual filters, and lazy asset placement that detract from the experience. The game has modest graphical and audio quality with low PC requirements, but ultimately divides opinion between those who value its artistic merit and emotional impact versus those fru
Interesting game I guess but it does have a few confusing moments on what to do or where to go. It isn't the best designed game out there but it wasn't horrible to play so long as you can get past what I mentioned before and don't expect much out of this game https://youtu.be/yrusivVXWwM3 found this helpful

thank you for making a good game. i really really appreciate, although simple and short. you made it. its art. and its game. and most importantly i felt something. and considering i play alot of games that end up being AI garbage this was a nice refresher. appreciate it. also my chat liked it but we also unanimously agree
that silver deserves better
2 found this helpful

"Paper cut" is yet another Unreal First Person BP template amateur kitbash dumped on Steam, this time with some deplorably lazy game assets arranged badly around the template to create a simple horror themed adventure game where the developer tries to be moderately edgy with violence towards children and animals in this "interactive adventure" about a kid who wishes his parents away. While the story is garbage (and badly written), the technical delivery is even worse. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's an ugly screen filter meant to make the game look even more obsolete... like the game looks bad enough already, but they actually went out of their way to make it look worse. There's no way to turn this off. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. We can say with great certainty that this game is not an asset flip. This is because the assets are of such poor quality …
