About Paranormal Observation
Start your new career as a paranormal investigator with the newest tool in ghost hunting, your computer. Ghost hunting has become more dangerous these days, so you won't be able to go directly into the building, but you stay close to the events. Your paranormal observation room is located downstairs in the basement, in most cases it is safe to be there, but not always.
Each investigation brings a new experience, each ghost has different behaviors to help you determine the ghost. There are different types of difficulties and maps to explore, from Fisherman's House to Chernobly and even Backrooms.
Your computer is equipped with the latest tools for paranormal observation, it has a room specific electromagnetic field (EMF) meter, a temperature meter, a sound meter, a laser grid and a UV light to see what you wouldn't see with normal light.
You can use the Exorcism module to remove the ghost from the building once you are sure which ghost you are dealing with. This will give you extra experience to unlock new difficulties.
With each completed investigation, you can earn money and experience that will help you unlock new upgrades, see new maps and complete even more complicated missions. What Steam players say

[9/10] This game at first was an anomaly in itself for me. I knew nothing about it apart from it being a 'spooky spot the difference' much like the Observation Duty games so opened it up and gave it a go - thank you so much to the devs for a key! At first you will be massively confused about controls and what triggers or warnings to look out for because the game - while it does have information it - does not explain them. So just so you know, WASD and the arrow keys cycle through cameras, move the cameras horizontally, and S/down will hide you in the office room. After I spent a while getting used to the game and working out the mechanics I absolutely loved it. Its a perfect mix of Observation Duty and Phasmophobia. You're watching the cameras looking for several types of anomalies and checking them off in your evidence book, and once the ghost is identified you find out which room they are currently haunting and exorcise them while they can also haunt you in the office, all the while looking out for a second threat that appears outside your office. I very much enjoyed this as much as my chat enjoyed scaring the hell out of me with very loud sound effects while I streamed it. I wou…2 found this helpful
if you're a fan of phasmophobia, i'm on observation duty or even fnaf (the older games anyway) then you'll find something to enjoy here. that said, despite this game's namesake, it doesn't feel quite like observation duty. the elements are there, but they lend more to the ghost hunting and fnaf style of gameplay. and i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love it. i'll break it down for players coming from each of the 3 games i mentioned. if you're coming from phasmophobia, you may notice some similar ghost names. the ghost hunts based on your sanity level, which you can't see at first. you have to buy the ability to monitor your sanity, as well as other upgrades, all with earned in game money. take photos of UV evidence, ghost orbs, the ghost walking through DOTS (called laser in this game) and evidence of a murder. this is kinda like bone evidence. it's a bit harder to find sometimes though. not always. but once you learn the locations, it's easy to either spot or narrow down. also, instead of 3 evidences, you have to find 5. some work similarly to phasmo, some don't. and there's one evidence type phasmo doesn't have. throwing. yup. if a ghost is throwing objects around, that's an evidence! also, the ghos…1 found this helpful
Great unique approach to ghost hunting. Everything done remotely from nerve center. If you want something a little different in ghost hunting... this is it.1 found this helpful
This game is Phasmophobia with CCTV cameras. On each map you have 4 or 5 cameras to switch between, and you can activate various pieces of equipment to get evidence. Once you have enough evidence you know what ghost it is and can leave. There are also "hunts" where you must hide under your desk to survive. The basic idea of this game is good but in practice all you do rapidly cycle between the different equipment and hide when prompted, totally ignoring any visuals or atmosphere. A typical game starts with you looking at EMF readings to see where the ghost is, then clicking between UV light and Laser light while spamming the EVP button. After 10 seconds, check EMF again, and back to spamming. It feels incredibly unsatisfying to play. You basically have to play this way because a typical mission lasts around 3 minutes, so there is no time and no reason to look at the house you are investigating or do any sort of mystery solving. This game obviously took a lot of inspiration from Phasmophobia, but what this game lacks is any sort of thinking. Because you are watching a screen and don't actually move through any sort of 3d environment, you either see Orbs or don't, you either s…
At the time of this review, I haven't 100% yet, but I have played all the maps and played on a couple different difficulties, namely Ametur and Intermediate. This game is really fun. It's one of those Indie games I wasn't sure about until I saw my fav. streamer play it. The maps are all very cool, my favorite being The Backrooms and the Japanese Gym. Finding the evidence is the one tiny thing I would have to complain about. Sometimes getting certain evidence is either way too tedious or it just doesn't happen (even when the ghost has that evidence). For example, I've noticed that UV and Laser either take like 5 minutes to find or they don't give it to me at all. So whenever this happens I'm forced to just guess which evidence it's refusing to give me. The hunting mechanic is pretty cool and I like the fact that you can buy upgrades to make your lofe more easier. Overall, this to me is another hidden gem horror game. If the dev. adds more ghosts, more mechanics and maybe a few more maps, this would be a 10/10 game!
