About Ghostist
You have become a Ghostist. Now you need to prove that you are capable of finding and identifying ghosts in several different places. After arrival you have to use your tools, senses and courage to investigate the place and find the ghost.
Once you start to notice strange things around you ranging from a faint noise to an immediate attack you have to carefully check for all the clues to identify what ghost you are dealing with.
The G.I.C (Ghost Identification Chart) is helping you identify the ghost. Check all the boxes of possible symptoms and it´ll propose possible ghost types.
With all the money you earn you can buy additional equipment helping you to locate the ghost, keep the ghost away or just keep the fear at bay.
Once you have gathered enough money you may even hunt back and try to banish the ghosts from the places they are haunting. Use the Exorcismkit, collect their bones scattered across the huge and small maps and try to address the right type of ghost-you wouldn't want it to get angry!

I came across this game from a streamer named Insym. This is a super cute 2D version of Phasmophobia, and it is great for those who are too spooked by Phasmophobia but want to play a game that is not as spooky as Phasmo, but doing the same investigation period, and there is exorcising in this game as well. I really like that I can play it and not get too spooked, just a little bit which is perfect because I don't like very scary games. It's great if you are looking for a relaxed & not complicated horror game and loves to do investigations. I do hope the developer will add more stuff in here in the future, this game have potential for sure. Maybe a story mode would be awesome.3 found this helpful

In short, it's a great little ghost hunting game. Think of it as Phasmophobia Lite. It's not a game you'll be pouring dozens of hours into, but it's a fun game to play the occasional match or two. Matches rarely take over 5 minutes, as ghosts are very easy to find with the EMF reader and give evidence generously. Most evidence-gathering tools are consumable, however the game rewards you very well for successful completions. You're never at a risk of losing dozens of games worth of progress from a single death It's much easier compared to other ghost-hunting games. Most ghosts are completely passive, making it VERY hard to die. The only ways you will find yourself dying are: A) running into the rare aggressive ghosts, or B) mucking up the exorcism. There isn't much of a progression system. The only progression is making your house (the hub between missions) larger, and that is all. There's a surprising amount of maps, but as a single-player only game, I cannot recommend the large maps. I definitely recommend sticking to the small/medium maps instead.
