PawMart Tiny Market

It's an ok idle game. It is slow progress and not punitive. I am still at the beginning (after 21h). It doesn't scratch the itch for me as there is not enough visitor for now to make it enjoyable to watch them I would say. Not particularly cozy either. But it's doing its job.

This is a tentative recommend. It does what it says on the tin. Cute little animals buy stuff from your supermarket, staffed by other cute animals. It's technically an idle as they run themselves without your input. But they will also grind to a screeching halt and make no progress once they run out of stock. Stock that, apparently, only you can buy. The period it can go without restocking increases as you get more cash to buy more stock and unlock more space, but this only goes so far. You feel pressured to come back and buy more stock every x minutes or else the customers will leave with sad faces. It's the engagement they chose for this game, I suppose, but it's a little boring and repetitive as all you do is click and buy some products. Really wish the game would just add managers you can hire to take care of automatic stocking if you don't find this fun. I stopped playing the game as a result. A more fun engagement for the type of players the little animals would appeal to would be to actually engage with the little animals. Perhaps clicking on them would give them a coupon, or generate some love for the store, or motivate the employee, and so on. It would be a …

It's a good interactive but having to regularly check if you're running out of stock can sometimes be distracting. It would be nice if there was a worker who handled buying for items running low. It's really serene, though, the interactive is great for if you have to work but you don't want your brain to get bored.

SO CUTE!! 🤍 this has been by far my favourite little task bar idler. overall runs really smoothly, super simple to get started and easy to navigate or relocate to another display. the animal characters are adorable and i love that you can have so many customers and staff as you grow your little store. there's lots of progression to work towards with the shelving options, staffing, decorating, and various grocery stock so you don't feel like you fly through everything even in a couple of long idling sessions. definitely recommend adding this one if you love cozy little desktop idlers!
