About Pax Autocratica: Prologue
The free prologue of "Pax Autocratica" invites you to establish the foundations of the greatest regime in history in this darkly satirical totalitarian colony sim + FPS roguelite hybrid. You are tasked with managing and leading your citizens to spread your doctrine through the first sector "Elysia" and free it from the oppression of the current ruling power. If you enjoy the Prologue, wishlist the full game to be notified on release.Dictate wisely as your choices will shape society, for better or worse.
You will command armies, dictate laws, and witness consequences in every face that salutes you or fears you.THE STATE OBSERVES ALLHow will history remember your reign?
Notes about the Prologue:
The Prologue contains a limited portion of the full game. The scale of the base and the battles is smaller than in Early Access. Certain advanced systems, such as deeper automation, mechs, and other late‑game mechanics, are not available here. Content and balance may change before Early Access release.Mold your citizens through fear, propaganda, surveillance, punishment or rule as a benevolent leader through comfort and prosperity. While they work for the State, they may grow grateful, afraid, loyal, or quietly rebellious, until dissent becomes revolt.Venture into the fractured territories of the Tyris System to gather resources, conscript new citizens, trade with wandering merchants, and feed the growth of your colony.Fight beside your troops in roguelite FPS battles, from hostile ships to large-scale mechanized battlefields of infantry, tanks, and mechs, spreading your doctrine and eliminating threats to humanity.Weakened foes can be captured and dragged back to your base.Behind prison doors, resistance can be crushed through fear, indoctrination, execution, or conversion, until an enemy becomes a citizen, a warning to would-be rebels, or another tool of the regime.Elite enemies, bosses, and Sector Overlords flood the battlefield with bullets, lasers, missiles, drones, artillery, and overlapping projectile patterns. This is war at scale, but you are not alone. Order your troops to secure victory, or use them as expendable shields to achieve your ends.Turn a handful of survivors into a vast, tightly run, self-sustaining colony.Assign citizens to mine, gather, haul, research, and manufacture weapons, armor, food, and supplies. Watch fragile shelters become the machinery of the State.Collect roguelite cores during each expedition to grow stronger, survive longer, and push deeper into enemy territory.Weapon Cores reshape how your guns handle. Combination Cores create synergies between different core sets. Others strengthen the troops fighting beside you, or turn them into sacrificial shields for your survival. Each run becomes a shifting war machine built around you, your squad, and the chaos you unleash together.Pax Autocratica is a totalitarian colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid that combines base building, citizen management, and first-person chaotic battlefields filled with infantry, vehicles and bullet hell. It offers a dynamic, accessible, and approachable gameplay experience for all in a sci-fi dystopian world. It’s a game about power. How it’s built, how it corrupts, and how it consumes. You will command armies, dictate laws, and witness consequences in every face that salutes you or fears you.THE STATE OBSERVES ALLHow will history remember your reign?

One of the more promising games I've played in recent memory. I hope they continue to polish through EA and refine the core game loop!
Coming off of games like Satisfactory and Icarus, I was looking for a fun game that had base building Inventory Management and this one also has first person shooter. The game is good provided you can actually play it. I got about 90 minutes into the demo before encountering game breaking bug that I have reported and posted discussion about and now I'm going to leave this review because how else can I get the developers to actually look at it. Do I recommend this game for other people to enjoy No... And here's why Because for a game this good it should not be plagued with the issue that I am including in letter to the devs below. Not to mention the fact of the injected forced redirect to their product page which if it was just the demo Fine but considering that they turned their demo into a full free to play title called the Prologue And yet this Code was never removed, I find that to be pretty reprehensibly Dumb and anti consumer especially when your forcefully kicks out the people who try to play it unless they have it installed on their main drive So here's my scores: Gameplay: 7/10 Story: 6/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Total Score: 0/10 But with the issues im having all that is meaningl…
The game is good, I want to wait for the full release because I'm tired of early access games. but as far as early access goes, the prolouge is very good.
Honestly I'm excited for the full release this is an awesome concept. It's a mix of a rougelike FPS arena shooter, base building and resource management game. Sort of like Fallout Shelter and Hades mechanics input into an arena shooter like Ultrakill. As far as gameplay it feels awesome! The gunplay is solid, weapons feel impactful and have some super cool models. The setting is also super sick and lends itself well to potential story building with the intro scene being you getting pardoned DURING your execution before being given the assignment to establish a colony for the human empire. It reminds me a lot of Warhammer 40k in that regard in the best way possible. The only thing I would like to see in this game after my short introduction is some larger arenas and discoverable items. I did some exploring after clearing levels and couldn't really find a reason to fully do it. I think it would super cool to add things like Halo's skulls or even extra modifier drops to maps at least in order to encourage people to actually look around and explore a bit more. To be completely fair though I only did about 50% of the first zone so I'm not sure if I just didn't get far enough but I was…
Fun and excited for the full release
