Peek a Boo

"Peek a Boo" is a rather poorly made first person jumpscare horror with what looks like asset flipped graphical assets, zero levels of polish, locked controls and no instructions (don't worry, it's not worth trying to figure out how to play this anyway). The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

looks good, but i was just lost on what to do.

Press left stick to run is diabolical. Y is bound to both the map AND hide for some reason. Literally unplayable with a controller. It's also unplayable with my mouse and keyboard too? I can't run, E appears to be bound to both interact and hide... oof

[h1]Needs RE Yellow Paint[/h1] NOT ONLY are we a short king, but the enemy DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO SHOW UP. Next time, remember to add an enemy to your game. Also: at the very least, tell players HOW TO PLAY YOUR GAME. The fact that I had to see it listed in a different review (Use the J key for objectives and a map) is utterly bonkers.

The game looks good, I'll give it that. Other than that though, the game is boring, difficult to play and the objective is non exsitent.
