The gallery doesn't work, rendering the game useless.

"Pelagos: A Marine Adventure" is edutainment.. It's is an underwater exploration simulation. Players navigate a marine environment, taking photographs of wildlife to learn about them and documenting pollution. The main activity is swimming around and capturing images for an in-game gallery. Frankly you're better off spending a few bucks to pick up Beyond Blue if you want a bit of underwater eduction, or Abzu if you want more of an artistic narrative game. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. This game is free because there is nothing in it. I have 0.1 hours on this game, that's me playing through twice to double-check I wasn't missing anything obvious. I am missing something: the game. The screenshots on this page are the entirety of the content. Don't promise otters if you're not going to deliver. I can't call this game unfinished, because it genuinely doesn't look like it has been started.

I hope the person that made it continues working on it; I'd love to see a fully fleshed out version of "Pokemon Snap: Animal Crossing Museum Aquarium."
