Pet Vet 3D Animal hospital Down Under

This is a brilliant game that brings back so many cherished memories. While taking care of incredibly cute animals, you also educate yourself a lot around these animals and their diseases. The information provided in the books is up a to very high standard and will be interesting even for adults. If you haven't played this game yet, I strongly recommend purchasing it as soon as possible in order to have a great time while broadening your horizon. There is one tiny disadvantage, connected to the age of the game. Sometimes, there is only a black screen on start-up. However, I have managed to solve this issue in an easy but smart way: Run the .exe file as administrator & Alt+Enter. Also, save often. Voila!

To be honest, I'm very torn on recommending this. This is the 3rd installment in the Pet Vet 3D games, and the first of the three that I played when I was younger. This one is my favorite. It feels like the developers got the hang of what they were trying to make with this game. BUT I've had issues with it crashing. There are bugs in this game that it's had since way back in the day that will make you force shutdown the game and reload a save. This game has its issues for sure. If you played this as a kid and want a nostalgia kick, this is so worth it. But if you have never played these games before, you probably won't enjoy it. There are a lot of better Vet sim games out there.

I bought this game because it reminded me of a game I used to play on my nintendo DS as a child. I thoroughly enjoyed this game, exploring the different animals that could be cared for. I did encounter a few bugs, including getting stuck in the dolphin pen and losing all my progress when the game suddenly shut down. After 26 hours of play time I made it to the end. I will definitely be trying the other games in the series when I have the chance.

Can't play because the game always crashes as soon as the first customer reach the desk. The other chapters don't have this problem. (Thanks god I save CD with this chapter.)

Playing this again after like 15 years, and it's still fun! You take care of adorable animals and read about them through in-game books, which is a fun little educational mechanic. I didn't know a lot of this animal trivia. The game crashes if I switch windows, but I haven't experienced any other bugs (haven't played scenarios yet). Also, none of these people sound Australian, which was a bit of a let-down :D Overall, very wholesome and nostalgic.
