I love this game! I bought this game to relive my childhood and ITS AMAZING!! I have experienced no bugs at all! YES the graphics are old looking because its an old game. The graphics are still beautifully clear to know what to do. If you want to know how to get more animals and not be stuck at meerkats for 10 thousand years make sure you are upgrading your cleaning, play, pet, training, feed and healing traits. 6 new bubbles (1 for each trait) = 1 new animal. Its amazing and you will love it especially if you are revisiting the game from your childhood.9 found this helpful
Love this game! I had it as a kid but the disk had a glitch and I could never get past the meerkats, which was maddening. I'm extremely happy to say that after just two nights of playing it I've already unlocked LEOPARDS (the 4th animal you can get). If you're confused on how to get more animals like I was, you have to fill up all the colored dots for that animal, read all the books on them, and build their pen before you can start treating a new animal. For some reason the tutorial doesn't cover that xD If you like the Sims you'll probably like this game, it's similar in that you have to juggle the needs of your character and the animals in your care and you can buy things for your house/clinic/animal pens that affect the moods of the people/animals. I'm finding it very addicting now that I can actually progress in it xD4 found this helpful
While this game is held very close to my heart, being a game from my childhood, I wouldn't suggest buying this game. Back on my windows 10 laptop, it would crash so much it was unplayable. With my Current Windows 11 PC it runs fine for the most part, but will still have unexpected crashes quite a bit. I'm forever greatful that steam has this game available and Im stubborn enough to play through the bugs. But it's 100% nostalgia that is making this game enjoyable in any way to me. If you don't have nostalgia, it's not worth your time or money.3 found this helpful
I wouldn't necessarily recommend this game for anyone that doesn't have the nostalgia factor. It is incredibly buggy, requiring regular saves to not lose too much progress. The graphics are quite dated now, and the game play is repetitive. But this game reminds me enough of my childhood for me to enjoy it.1 found this helpful
Love this game from my childhood, but its super glitchy, so save after everything you do.
I used to play this game all the time as a kid and it's still just as much fun! The only downside is it crashes often so I have to make sure to save the game frequently or I lose a lot of progress. :(
