[h1] Windjammers meet Pet Sematary[/h1] I rate this game as Neutral. The necro theme is cute with its' cartoon-y horror but the game is bareboned.It lacks Multiplayer, Campaign (as in Story mode) so it's really just you VS CPU all the time. Not to mention that you can't even change controls since it was (quite possibly) optimised for Gamepad.Characters sometimes feel sluggish and bit too slow in responding. Instead I'd rather recommend Windjammers.Fun for a short while but it gets old quicky. One of the worst Pong clones I have played. It is hard to like when the puck randomly goes through your character and the hit detection is lacking. Also the angle you are hitting the puck does not even matter. Of course the CPU opponent is not hindered by these issues at all. It is confirmed - level 3 is unbeatable. The first round you might get a point because the enemy plays like a dead fish. On the second round on you will get TWO opponents that magically know where the puck is going to end up at and they play like pros. You, in contrast, have less than the human reaction time to perform miracles. It is about 0.2 seconds vs 0.3 of the reaction time. Even if you somehow saw it coming or guessed, positioning your character that has undocumented puck edges in a useful way is practically impossible. You have to position your guy pixel-perfectly or it might bounce off of you into your own goal i.e. go through you. The game has no difficulty selection. At least in real air hockey you know what the actual shape of your paddle is and the geometric angles make real life sense. In contrast this game feels glitchy at best.

Fun game. Remote play works well.

The game looks nice. I was hoping this be a great alternative to windjammers 2 but once you dive into the game. The game gets really unfair with the ai. There's matches where you are versing 3 opponents and you're task to defend your goal. I'd probably say that this would be fun with local co-op than the actual single player campaign itself. I'd really pass on this, but since the price is fair at $5 dollars. If you are curious, I'd say give it a go.

Surprisingly fun little game. I'd love to play it on the steam deck. Pro tip: don't play with little kids if they are super competitive XD
