The distances between locations are too long and the downtime of nothing happening switches from uncertain dread to boredom really quickly. I pity the poor souls that subjected themselves to this for longer than 10 minutes.

3.8 Interesting experience but it never quite lands on it's whole and feels a bit too goofy. There is merit to the idea behind it along with the method of what it is saying to try. I have thoughts on what it was meaning and corruption toward. But then it also doesn't really land as it's a mash of 5 or so different perspectives and phobias that feel kind of rushed of each. An exploration of different phobias could be an interesting experience on the whole, you'd need to delve in and explore them with a fair bit more detailing. This being what it is though is an interesting dive into the concept and it isn't awful. I quite like the 'drawn' aspect to some of the environments, but I found the monsters to be a little goofy or awkward looking. I somehow got through the forest really easily which I am not quite complaining about. I saw the monster I think twice going different ways from Rope > Well but then didn't see it at all from the Well to the Door somewhat relaxingly trying the keys it was only as the last was finishing I heard it again coming close. I also would NOT have found the key in the abandoned building area if it weren't for checking out another's playthrough. Si…

i dont get it dude. i walked forever to get to a well that told me i needed something to reach down in it, is the implication that i have to walk forever all the way back and to another location to find a stick or something and come back? dude why is this place so big with nothing in it? you know the thing that's scary isnt just being in a dark forest with a flashlight right?

A little game you can finish in 2 hours. Very inspired by first person survival horror games like Amnesia or Slender Man, this one has a cheaper visual, because it's a free game done by a single man. Even if some platform paths are painful and even if the backgrounds drawn by hand look like scribbles, the game deserves to be play, especially for one reason: it is supposed to be scary, and it scary!

Because there is no "neutral" rating option, I will give this game a thumbs up... with a catch. The graphics were pretty good. The scares were decent, it's your standard type of avoid the enemy game. Some items may be difficult to find, such as the crowbar
which is located to the left and down the slope from where the hole in the fence is, look for a pile of trash and mannequin parts.
Some enemies, such as in the starting forest, are impossible to avoid and you will have to hit the try again button. The ending was... disappointing. It is a free game, so I really can't speak too negatively about it. Rating: 5/10

Game scared the cheese out of me several times. Would recommend on just the first chapter alone. Link below to my entire playthrough! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpyfkkqSub2E0QHFCN3jLY125BTUY1ZkY&si=_-EjtxKM46fcbk-2
