The game might have been decent on tablets or other touchscreen devices, but on PC definitely not.

I just didn't enjoy it, but according to the reviews, I'm in the minority I guess. I ended up removing it from my account even.

How is it that a game so simple crashes SO MUCH

It should have been bundled with a pair of pong paddles. That's the best way to play Waveform, adjusting wavelength and amplitude to pass each level. What? No pong paddles? What? Gamepad is not supported? Duel thumsticks would suffice for this kind of game, and yet they are not supported? Sorry, but I can't endure.
