About PiMon
"Through the advancement of technology we have discovered a new type of lifeform, Personal-computer Integrated Monsters, or PiMon for short. We are yet to determine how long they have existed, or how they came to be. They just seemed to have appeared as a digital egg that appeared on a desktop screen someday. What seems to be evident is that advancements in computer technologies have allowed them to finally reveal themselves to us.
-And that is where you come in.
You have been chosen as a PiMon admin. Befriend, take care of, and play with your very own PiMon. And together, we can uncover the many mysteries of these enigmatic creatures!" - Prof. Pikon
PiMon only take a small portion of your screen. They have their own rooms. You can move these rooms to the top, bottom, or anywhere on your screen. You can even make the screen larger or smaller!
Want to interact with your PiMon more directly? Play games with your PiMon or just pet and comb its fur using the Active Play feature! You can also test your Pimon's might against your friend's in thrilling PvP battles through Steam's Remote Play Together feature or other screen sharing tools!
Your PiMon can update and evolve into new versions of themselves! Currently we know for sure that PiMon can upgrade up to Version 4.0. But there's reason to believe that they can update even further!
So, hope you will join us in discovering more about PiMon, Admin!

It's... Fiiiiine? There's no option for a neutral review, because I would be giving it that. It's got positives, but for what I wanted out of a vpet game, there's too many features I wanted that aren't there. It's designed to be very simple, and that's to its credit- it surely is simple. Maybe too simple for me as I don't get to really interact with my vpet at all besides moving them around. I want to give it attention somehow but I can't. No petting, no chew toys to throw around, nothing. Sounds are really nice, I like that you have an active hand in skill progress if you want to, and I think that you can battle other players is really neat. It's also strangely frustrating to lose all progress on my vpet when I step afk to do something for awhile. I sometimes forget that I have it running, and sometimes I do it intentionally to bump up my skills while I'm not at the pc and I come back to find all my progress is reset. I don't really know what to make of this, it's like the point of the game is to barely grab your attention, but if you let that happen you chance starting over from scratch. I don't know if there's more planned for this, but it doesn't feel like the loop of caring …5 found this helpful
This does a bad job at being a virtual pet and a bad job at being an idler. What little you can do and see is not cute and is not satisfying. Your pets are tiny, barely animated if at all, and have simplistic designs. They don't do anything besides stand around, and none of them set themselves apart in any way. The visuals overall are very crude and uninteresting. Even worse, the user interface feels incredibly unpolished. The help pages are hard to read, and so are all the menu buttons. Room navigation seems like its trying to be cute, but it's only awkward and gets in the way. When a minigame begins or ends, the game window moves around the screen. The display options are extremely limited, which is even more of a problem when the game forces itself on top of all other windows. There are other related little issues. The game demands your attention (to manage the hunger and energy of your pet) but not in any way that's fun. The minigames are miserable, but at least they're optional. Likewise, the stats you build up affect nothing whatsoever besides evolution path, which also affects nothing. There's some sort of PVP battle mode I guess? Addition: It is glitchy. One minigam…2 found this helpful
It's a cute desktop type of game, although very simple and not too much to do, (There is battle and some minigames). For whatever reason though, when I had my Pimon up to stage 2, it just randomly reset and turned back into an egg, and I am not sure why. It's food status was fine, all I can think of, is maybe the battle killed it. So I am back to the egg.1 found this helpful

The digimon toy you had years ago but better
Kinda cool to have a nice little Tamagotchi living in a small screen on the side of your pc. Unobtrusive, and a nice compliment to my daily work. Would recommend.
