Splash through rockpools, explore mysterious caves, clean up campsites, investigate old castle ruins, and play on the beach as Tyke revisits the scenes of childhood holidays and recollects past adventures with his dad. The Pine Hearts nature reserve is an enchanting world of crisscrossing paths and shortcuts, filled with surprising interactions. This is a lovely relaxing little exploration game with very accessible an easy mechanics. It's not challenging for me at all, but it is satisfying anyway. It's a sweet and nostalgic story well told. Took me two years to finish because it hit a bit too hard watching the father/son story when my dad had just passed. Made me cry a bit but in a good way.2 found this helpful
Loved the exploration and environment, a charming world to spend some time in. The story was good, I enjoyed helping people to collect drops that unlock your memories (and new abilities that came along with them). Overall a very chill time, with themes of loss. If you like games like [i]A Short Hike[/i] or [i]Haven Park[/i], I'd recommend checking this one out.1 found this helpful
Great game!
Great game! Really cute.
Great fun game with a slightly emotional story but the exploration and quests are really what the core gameplay is all about. Cute graphics, good level design and lovely music.
The vibe is great and the whole experience feels very chill. That said, it does have some annoying bugs that can freeze the game, and depending on your last save you might lose progress. It happened to me 3 times in around 5 hours, which is a bit too much.
