There's a few things that I appreciate about this game. The pixel art is readable, the music and overall atmosphere are very relaxing, and the level design is solid. All that being said I also have some complaints. The physics in this game are predictable, and they have to be for something as high stakes as a rage game, but it means that the paddles you use to navigate feel incredibly sluggish. It doesn't even feel like pinball most of the time. There's an interesting case to be made that archaic controls are a key part of rage games but that's not the issue. The issue for me is that the controls don't make moving through the world feel more novel, fun or engaging. It just feels boring. like someone took a look at how chaotic pinball can be and didn't understand that was what made it fun. Another issue comes from the writing, or rather the lack thereof. Most NPCs you encounter have one or two textboxes total and don't ever seem to have anything interesting to say with them, the most I've encountered so far is a guy who shows up periodically as you make more progress, and a fetchquest NPC. Simple controls, easy to pick up on gameplay, but the levels and mechanics can get really tough. Played on Steam Deck with no issues! Looking forward to playing through and trying to get a bit further in my next attempts.

Very simple premise that's beautifully expanded upon. Always challenging but never unreasonably. It's like FNAF, Jump King, and Fortnite in the way that it's an independent game that's a rage game that has you falling a lot. Fun, totally recommend.

Neat little Foddy-like with a quite lovely art style. The game is honestly pretty fair, and while it is easy to lose your rhythm and fall back to square one, it gives you plenty of chances on the way down to stop your fall. I like that it actively tracks your progress so you can always tell how far you are-or how much progress you just lost. Also makes use of scattered npcs and collectibles that, while optional, appear to unlock player skins and just add a little flavor. Overall a fun little pinball platforms that I look forward to seeing more of as soon as I stop falling.
