Poly Memory: Birds

Lucky me gets to write the first review for yet another asset flip/cash grab scam. Poly Memory: Birds is yet another mobile app copy+paste asset flip from Cute Hannah, who do nothing but copy + paste the same basic mobile app game templates onto Steam (they've done this with their series of POG copy+pastes, now they're doing it with a basic Memory card matching game). This is just a match-2 game where you remember which polygons have the matching symbols, we've all played this before. It's a blatant cash grab, with zero depth or value as a game, a joke $2 cash grab price, and of course it was dumped into DailyIndieGame bundles at launch. They've copied this five times now, with different tiles to match, but otherwise the same game. Birds, Cats, Dogs, Furries, and Furries 2 (ugh). Since you can play this kind of game for free in a web browser if you really wanted to, I can't recommend anyone should pay money for this cash grab pollution.

This game is a matching puzzle where you have to match 2 exact birds. The game gets boring after 20 levels where it just adds more birds to match. When the level starts, it shows where the birds are and after 1 second they disappear. I completed the game by taking a photo before the birds disappear and then matched them which was very boring. I wouldn't recommend buying this game because it doesn't give +1 meaning it doesn't add to perfect games. If it would maybe I would consider recommending it.

This is kind of a mixed review. The game itself is alright, maybe mediocre. It's just not worth money in my opinion. It's more like something I'd play on a website as a flash game to waste time. It's just a memory game featuring birds in a mosaic-ish artstyle. There are 50 levels with increasing difficulty where you match all pairs of the same cards without making too many mistakes. To some people, this game can be relaxing, I guess. I don't know what else to say... There really isn't much to tell about the game itself. It's just one of many template flips with different pictures. This would be fine if, and only if either they all were bundled in one single game or they were free. Otherwise, it's just not worth paying money for pretty much the same game over and over again.
