[b]6/10[/b] Get all the chicks back to safety before the vultures attack! [b]What is it:[/b] A cute, but very simple pathfinding game. You're the mother hen who has to go gather all the chicks back to the barn in a limited amount of time (moves). If the counter reaches 0 and you're not yet at the barn door with all the chicks, it's game over. One other challenge is later introduced, barrels falling at a certain time, blocking your way. While that is supposed to make the game harder, I found it rather helpful because the barrel counters tell you early on which is the correct order to get the chicks, instead of almost finishing the whole level only to find out you're two moves short of reaching the barn, you know early on if one of the chicks is blocked by a barrel because you didn't get to it on time. For the positive aspects: the game is cute and visually pleasing, easy enough for young children to tackle. For the negative aspects: No undo. Fixed perspective, I was puzzled a couple of times because I did the best path to a chick yet still found myself blocked by a barrel, until I realized there is a hidden path behind a block. "Pop and Chicks" is a cute minimalistic puzzle with maze elements. You are helping Pop the chicken locate her chicks that are scattered around the farm and return them to the hen house. Watch your steps, they are numbered! Also, there are some hazardous barrels along the way that will disrupt your path. 40 levels of fun and lovable chicken sounds. Who knew chicks could make such a sweet sound? ^^ Well, those chicks do! So help their mom gather them in the hen house for safety and warmth! Recommended for all audiences, including kids. [h3] Good casual fun game [/h3] Not hard to do. 40 levels. Would have been good to have more, perhaps 50? FYI ~ Achievements are now working ok.

Very cute and simple logic game. The only controls are WASD to move through the maze collecting chicks using the most efficient path. However, this does get boring after a bit. Highly recommended if you want something entertaining while waiting for something else, like at a Dr.'s appointment or airport. Worth noting - this feels more like a mobile game vs PC.

22 minutes to finish. Kids game, you dont need to stop and think, you dont need to plan your moves just go and done you did it. "Profile Features Limited", Its also one of these games. If you care about these things dont buy the game, If I had seen it beforehand I wouldn't have bought it.

Pop and Chicks is a short and sweet puzzle experience with 40 stages in total. Overall I didn't find the puzzles too difficult to complete but I did have to use the restart option a couple of times here and there because of an incorrect move made. The only stage that gave me a bit of trouble was stage 37 due to one of the chicks being a bit tough for me to see due to the placement of the chick in question and a barrel. I got the game on sale for $0.99 and I feel it was worth it as I had fun playing Pop and finding all the chicks within the limited number of moves I had to do so. This title also feels like it would be a good option to give to younger gamers as a first exposure to puzzle type games and that may have been the target audience, but I love chickens and have been in a puzzle mood lately so it was a win for me as well. I hope the developers will either add more levels as an update or make a Pop and Chicks 2 with more levels because by the time I finished level 40 I was wanting for more and could have easily keep on going. With how quick and fun the game can be it might actually be a good game for speedrunning if that is something you are into. Overall I would say Pop …
