“Port Authority” is a small game whose mechanics are very similar to those of “Mini Airways.” Essentially, you manage a port and do everything in your power to both unload ships on time and prevent them from sinking. Although it sounds simple, in reality, it’s far from it. As your port expands and begins to accommodate massive container ships, you realize that the real struggle for survival is just beginning. Despite its simple mechanics, game has that rare quality that makes you want to play it and keep coming back to it. It’s well-designed mechanically and technically polished. It’s engaging yet relaxing, and the short “runs” (around 30–40 mins) are perfect as a break between other activities or as a quick diversion when you’re short on time. Unfortunately, there are also some negatives. All in all, the most serious one is the fact that the ships don’t have any kind of AI (not even a rudimentary one), which means that even though you give them specific commands, you can’t really take your eyes off them. I did play the Demo for 5 Minutes and bought it right away. somehow this is very addictive and can get quite stressfull. Playing on STEAMDECK with no issue. Really love the title for its adictive simplicity.2 found this helpful
Great concept of a game for a quickie or a 4 hour marathon run going for a high score. Very much like MiniMetro and MiniMotorway. Very much worth the asking price, and the developer is active on steam listening to the players comments.2 found this helpful
Super clean little game that's simple yet surprisingly difficult once it gets going. Sometimes the exit arrows aren't visible on later maps but it's pretty intuitive anyway. Would be cool to maybe see some eye candy on the docks!2 found this helpful
This game is absolutely infuriating. I can't give it a thumbs down since it does what it says on the tin... but you're going to throw your laptop out a window when some janky supertanker decides to go sideways. You've been warned. It's fun, and your cortisol will spike.1 found this helpful
