About Harbor Captain

Harbor Captain is a relaxing maritime game where you navigate ships into the harbor. Click and drag to move ships into the correct docks. Unload the cargo, then leave. Avoid crashing into other ships.

Dock and undock interesting ships in interesting locations

Carefully bring in an LNG carrier along the canals of Port City, while making sure the other ships are waiting for their turn to cross this tight canal. For those who love to multitask, this is Port of Paradise for you. We currently have 3 beautiful maps and are working on more.

Doodle your routes

Channel your inner creativity. Doodle around and watch your ships moving in the most cringe ways. Hey, maybe that doodle will actually result in a higher score.

Manage close calls with clever multitasking

Expertly manage your ship routes to avoid close calls. Just another regular day at the harbor (or as the Brits call it, harbour). Reduce risk of collision by planning your routes way in advance, keeping view of all ships coming in and out of the harbor.

Cross bridges

Navigate your ship under beautiful bridges, while marvelling at the beauty of the vast civilization and economy that was built around the ports.

Neat little game idea. Good for just playing something simple for a few minutes. But needs some polishing. The game is very basic. That is clearly visible upfront and while 5€ aren't much for a game in general, it's still pricey for a game that you would usually expect to find as a free browser mini game. The hitbox of the larger ships for clicking is too small and I frequently click the ship but it does not get selected. The frequency of the ships coming is increasing too slowly. It takes too long to get to a point where there are enough ships that make the game challenging enough to be fun. Some additional challenge or variety is missing. Random events during the game or some more maps with an additional twist would be nice. In its current form the game becomes plain quickly.
