About Prescribe and Pray

Congratulations.Without qualifications, without a degree, and without the slightest credibility, the Last Breath Clinic entrusts you with the position of general practitioner within its hospital factory.Welcome patients, examine them, diagnose, and prescribe with caution. A mistake can happen so quickly…For any questions, complaints, or special requests, please refer to our motto:
“Health has a price, and everyone must contribute.”Every patient is a potential fraudster. You have been warned.Fake name, expired card, invalid insurance? It’s up to you to keep undesirables from accessing healthcare. You are the last line of defense.Management is watching you…Put away your rudimentary tools: medicine is serious business.Fortunately, Management equips you with the finest French medical technology. True diagnostic weapons, including:
  • a rechargeable battery-powered flashlight
  • a thermometer that goes beep-beep
  • an intra-auricular blood pressure monitor
  • a suspicious-odor sniffer
Stranger-than-strange diseases…Visceral sensitivity to light (vomiting included), sudden appearance of a wagging tail, or instant hair regrowth… Here, every symptom is a surprise, every diagnosis a gamble, and every mistake leaves a mark—on your paycheck as well as in tomorrow’s news.Schemes, lies, bribes, and retaliation. Here, being a doctor is not limited to treating patients. Every decision matters. Some choices make survival easier. Others bring it to an end.In this world, a single mistake can cost more than your reputation.

It's fun, but it gets to a point where it's very confusing and quite hard to check everything and make sure it's correct. I also often got issued for not giving the right precribtion even though i checked multiple times and it was indeed the right one, very odd.. (would be nice if it explained what i coulda done differently incase it was a user error.) And the posters on the back keep opening up even though i never click on them, so that gets annoying.

first things first, if you really enjoyed paper's please, you WILL enjoy this game. the negative reviews are full of BS, there are no bugs related to height/weight. You largely can ignore height/weight as a metric as there won't be any that are wrong in this regard. The game does NOT unfairly punish you in the vast majority of cases. the only complaint i have is that there are cases where the patient is both healthy and there is an error with documents, and the error prioritizies. a bit silly and unintuitive, but learnable and consistent still. overall one of the best "papers please' like games to come out since papers please, on the same level I may say, which is refreshing after so many slop failures in the genre. I think the frequency of document errors is a bit too "low" at the moment, I did a full run where I was a "good samaritan" and it didn't really negatively impact much as long as I spent money well and didn't get the correct document guys right. I only rejected people who's numbers weren't valid. prescriptions should also be printable based on the ID in front of you, rather than being tied to the insurance number so I can be helpful to those people on purpose :P …

Great game and a lot of fun! It strikes a perfect balance between tense moments and hilarious comedy, keeping the experience engaging from start to finish. I had a great time playing and definitely recommend it. Despite seeing other reviews mentioning bugs, I personally didn't encounter any of those issues during my playthrough. The gameplay was smooth, the atmosphere was excellent, and the mix of humor and suspense made it a memorable experience. If you're looking for a fun game that doesn't take itself too seriously while still delivering exciting moments, this one is absolutely worth checking out!

Played for a little bit but then when I started refusing people based on height or sex it said I was incorrect. Don't care to play anymore when the "rules" are vague and contradict what was supposed to be correct in the first place.

I love this game since it's similar to Papers Please in concept. However, there are a handful of issues I'm experiencing such as having no save whenever I go back to the title screen. I also can't restart the day as in the button won't do its job lol. Other than these problems, I really like playing but it's just replaying to get the point I was originally at that's a bit tedious.
