Used to be decent but then the main dev replaced all of the genuinely decent art and everything with AI art. Very low quality and just uses public assets. Nothing original besides the key art and now even that is replaced by AI art. Go play Path of Titans or The Isle instead.

In short, used to be pretty fun early on, but the dinosaur ai is pretty stupid, and now every update thumbnail is made by ai, wich I don't support.

I'd try to be respectful but unless you have a nasa computer you cant run this. 4-2 fps max, doesnt matter what graphic settings you use. And if you do have one, get the isle, it costs less, doesnt have ai, and is more creative. they may update less but their game is playable which is an automatic win. It saddens me that i couldnt refund this because i tried *so* hard to try and give it a chance, trying everything I could, but it simply does not run well. They also made a build to reduce low fps but it does literally nothing

There is something suspicious about this game. First time running it a small black window popped up and disappeared and after that there has been all sorts of strange issues with my computer when running this game. Audio cancels out, discord crashes, steam page keeps opening and closing over and over. The game constantly freezes and crashes. Do not even waste your time with this.

I've played this for 5.5 hours so far. I've played as 3 species; stegosaurus, allosaurus, and triceratops. I am amused. I am playing this in a casual mood. You got to be patient and figure out how to grow your dinosaur. You have to do some reading in the guide. I saw an older youtube video of the game, and it has improved quite a bit since then. I really like the way the environment and creatures look and sound. The music fits. I like the weather effects. The night time is pitch black, but you have a night vision toggle. I had to turn all the settings down to "normal" for my computer to run it well. I think casual dinosaur enthusiasts will enjoy themselves. It's got a blend of realistic and old school "movie monster" aesthetics. For example, the velociraptor is bald, and has typing position hands, but there is a feathered deinonychus. I like both inaccurate and accurate dinosaurs, so this is fine with me. There are a fine amount of Jurassic and Cretaceous dinosaurs, as well as some from other eras like the Permian. I find this game to be some decent dinosaurian escapism.

------2026 March------------- I can´t enjoy it because I can´t use a gamepad, I wrote about it a year ago to the dev but it does´nt seem it will come. I can´t leave a positive review now since I need a gamepad to enjoy it. If those things are fixed I will change it to a positive. + A lots of new Dinos and others and constant patches coming - Input to change keys in game still bugged in mainmenu - Still no gamepad support ------2025 February---------- + Very friendly Dev I know he is waiting for some sort of assetpack or similar to be used with his game, but it hasn´t been released yet. He is dividing his time with the developement with a new non dino game and playing piano but I still got hopes for gamepad support and that the multipayer will get back even though I get my Dino PVP kick from Path of titans allready. Still I do recommend it but for I can´t say I enjoy it anymore since there is no gamepad support. But I´m following the project and hope it will feature gamepadsupport and more options for the graphics. When I play dinosaur games now its: 1. Path of titans 2. The isle of Yore 3. Saurian 4. Primeval. + Lots of dinos - Few updates. There was a patch in October 2025 and…
