What Steam players say

Players praise this classic hidden object game for its nostalgic charm, engaging story about a cursed castle, and inclusion of varied puzzles and mini-games beyond just searching for items. Common complaints include outdated navigation mechanics, hints that don't always work effectively, and an underwhelming ending, though most agree it offers good value at its low price point for fans of the genre or those seeking a dose of nostalgia.

used to play the heck out of this game when i was like 10yo. still holds up today, i think. it may or may not be just nostalgia
Decent game. I like that there are more puzzles beyond just the hidden object stuff and you have the ability to use hints if you really need. the navigation to find new rooms was harder than expected though and hints did not work for that. I started this on 2 separate ocassions when I had free trials of the game with a new laptop like 10+ years ago but never got to finish till now. I will say I found the ending a bit underwhelming, but overall this was a nice distraction for a couple hours for a low price point
An old school feeling HO game that is missing some of the modern mechanics the make things more convenient but the story and the art was interesting enough for me to get to the end. The mini games were also a big part of that because I feel like that's a dying art in newer games. At $5 I really can't say anything bad about it and would absolutely recommend it.
