Not the best of the Artifex Mundi games. Poor graphics, bad "story", and some illogical puzzles. Still playable if you have some time to waste…

Princess Isabella: The Rise of an Heir, developed by Gogii Games and World-Loom and published by Artifex Mundi, is a hidden object puzzle adventure that continues the beloved Princess Isabella series. As the final chapter of the trilogy, the game shifts focus to Isabella’s daughter, Bella, who must rise to the challenge of reclaiming her kingdom from the clutches of a malevolent witch. Set in a richly imagined fairy tale world, the story blends elements of magic, curses, and royal intrigue, offering players a charming and narrative-driven experience that appeals to fans of classic adventure games. A barely recommendable HOG. This is the last part of a trilogy of games. There's not really a lot to say about this game. It's not the worst HO game, it's also not good, just average. The typical cliched fantasy plot is, as usual, just an excuse to move the game forward. At least all HO scenes are unique and never repeated, but they are just uninspired. Bland in most aspects, even the ending has a small cutscene that congratulates you. The game includes the typical bonus game, which is just more of the same, this time you are rescuing more spirits with more generic puzzles. It's quite easy to finish the whole game in under 3 hours without any hints or walkthrough. The game has a reputation of being glitchy, but to be fair the only weird think I saw was a cutscene being repeated twice for some reason. Only get with a 90% discount if you run out of similar games.

A poor end to the series. It feels put together rather than properly crafted, from the graphics to the story. A shame considering I loved the first two games. Not even worth the 2 euros I got it for, let alone full price,
