About Project Amalthea: Battlegrounds
Quarantine has been declared throughout Jupiter orbit due to outbreak of unknown disease. All the pilots are grounded except for the few ones allowed to participate in training battles.
Join their ranks for blazing fast space battles with another players in this top-down shooter game.
Capture the Flag, Battle Royale and Dungeon Raid. All those games have different mechanics and require cooperative efforts to master.
Different types of weapons allows you either to do mass damage, penetrate a shield or lay a trap.
Each weapon category bears it's own unique mechanics and combat tactics:

- Rockets - high damage explosives
- Torpedoes - guided missiles
- Lasers - beam weapons with 100% shield penetration
- Machine guns - kinetic weapons with extra damage to unshielded targets

So, Project Amalthea: Battlegrounds is a dead multiplayer/PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Даже на мощном железе иногда наблюдаются просадки FPS. Кроме того, ощущается недостаток контента. Режимов игры немного, а прогрессия кажется медленной и утомительной. Система монетизации тоже вызывает вопросы, так как некоторые полезные улучшения приходится либо долго зарабатывать, либо покупать за реальные деньги. В целом, игра имеет потенциал, но требует доработки. Если разработчики исправят проблемы с оптимизацией, добавят больше контента и пересмотрят систему монетизации, 'Project Amalthea: Battlegrounds' может стать достойным представителем жанра киберпанк-шутеров.
