This game cannot be played as intended.[/quote] So basically the "developers" here took a basic public domain game, made a crap iteration of it with Godot (about 2 hours effort or less), put their own name on a public domain game, and shoved it on Steam Direct. Jesus wept, this is the absolute state of "indie" amateur developers. So, "Project Hangman" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. The graphics here are particularly awful for a glorified browser/flash game, minimalist, zero effort stuff, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Seems like the servers are down now, can't get past loading / connecting, unfortunate because this was a pretty fun little game to play with friends. :(
