Unsure why the game devs are against people who live in the state of Washington? The game is quite clunky and displays literal ingame ads unrelated to the game itself, however me and a friend found the gambling aspect quite exhilarating and it was the main reason we stuck around for a whopping 10 minutes before coming to a conclusion that we're definitely wasting our time here. It has been an unpleasure experiencing this game. Thank you.

Hangman Duel is a pretty simple word game, but I think it works best when I treat it as something to play for a few minutes rather than expecting a big experience. The idea is obviously familiar because I am trying to guess a hidden word by picking letters before I run out of attempts or time. What I like is that it keeps the basic hangman idea intact instead of adding a bunch of unnecessary mechanics that get in the way. There is a solo mode as well as online play, so I can either take my time with the word challenges or go into a match and try to be quicker with my guesses. There are also different difficulty levels and a selection of word categories, which helps stop every round from feeling exactly the same. The basic gameplay is easy to understand, but getting through the harder words does require me to think a little more carefully instead of just throwing random letters at the screen. I also like the simple 2D cartoon presentation. It is nothing amazing visually, but it fits this type of casual word game and keeps everything easy to read.
