About PROJECT MAZE
Welcome to Project Maze, a game where you must complete three manually generated mazes of increasing difficulty. Each one is larger than the previous one, but if that's too easy for you, you have the option to create your own unique maze by setting the size and seed of the generation.
You can play in single player or network cooperative mode, where the mazes are procedurally generated each time, creating new challenges for you and your friends.
But that's not all - a huge fourth maze awaits you, featuring a competitive element in the form of a leaderboard. In this mode your goal is to complete the maze as quickly as possible, so you can get to the top of the leaderboard.
The goal of the game is to get through the mazes alone or together with your friends.
Show your space orientation skills and work as a team to reach a common goal!

PROJECT MAZE is a Development Hell low poly minimalist first person maze negotiation game. You drop into a maze and must find the exit. Everything looks the same and the developer didn't know about textures on polygons, so it's all drab white. If the premise of the game appears shallow, that's because it is. There's no serious value or merit as a genuine PC game. As always, when the business model is to compete with the puzzle section at the back of the newspaper, it's dead before it even hits the store. The game has been in Early Access since 2023 and while it's still getting tiny, empty updates, it's deep in Development Hell. There's no reasonable expectation that this will ever be completed. Whether the developer lacks the time, funds, or skill/talent required to complete a video game isn't really something gamers should be expected to accept as an excuse. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy minimalist/untextured low-polygon "retro" assets and visuals, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. The lack of textures is a method that laz…4 found this helpful
A neat little indie game that satisfies my inner maze-wanderer... Lots of new features added in the last couple of years, including a level editor and performance fixes. Worth buying, and worth spending a few hours in! :) Also, for the one achievement that was glitching out for me, the dev was kind enough to add another way to unlock that particular achievement. So, not only is this an active game, but the dev still pays attention to it and gives it some love from time to time. Thanks for being cool!1 found this helpful

It's a great game if you just want to relax with some low-impact mental aerobics. The soundtrack is mellow and there's no rush to finish unless you're trying to beat a certain time. Also, you can mark the maze in various ways as you pass through it to help find the exit. Pretty basic but that's part of what I like about it. Well worth $5 just for the time I've put in so far.
Good mazes I guess, but I can't be bothered playing it for hours. Mazes aren't my thing. Had this game in my library for months from a steam coupon, just used SAM to forget about it.
