"Project Wasteland: The Mythiclands" is more abandoned Early Access garbage, someone tried to make a third person ARPG without knowing how, then gave up. I will say that I don't think this is any kind of asset flip, the game assets look so bad no self respecting asset creator would even consider publishing them. The developers abandoned this 4 years and 4 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $9 USD for this. This shows an incredible sense of imagination and optimism from the developer, none of which is reflected in this abandoned Early Access train wreck. This game feels like it had a lot of potential but it obviously didn't grow fast enough for the developer to keep working on it. Too bad.

Walked into the portal about 30 times and it just puts you right back by your chest. i will not be retrying this game.
