Psych is a rare horror title that prioritizes psychological depth and sustained suspense over quick thrills. If you are looking for a game that will test your nerves and make you second-guess every shadow in your own hallway, Psych is an absolute must-play. ​Rating: 10/10 — A haunting, brilliantly crafted descent into madness.

It is CREEPY - even if you expect the jump scares or you literally see something coming. Well done! Story is less compelling and somewhat predictable. And the idea of trauma manifesting in horror-trippy psychosis is just perpetuating mental health tropes.

The game starts well, but the middle is flat and the ending is too bad. The beginning is good. The narrative and atmosphere were good, and the story gradually made me excited to find out what would happen next and what had really happened. Then the sewage chapter was long and a little boring, but I think the excitement from the beginning helped me continue playing. After that, I started to hate this game. The gameplay became flat and repetitive, and the narrative started to irritate me. Alex tells the same thing, and so do the others... again and again. It made me feel confused about which parts were real and which were imagination. Finally, the game ended with a simple narrative.

It's a decent enough game, but it has little replay value. Much of the content was just wandering around and finding objects until the occasional environmental change or jump scare interrupts you. The story had my attention at first, but I found it rather predictable towards the end. Dialogue could be a bit awkward at times. While the atmosphere could be tense sometimes, I never felt like the main character was in any real danger, which made a lot of the horror fall flat. Some good things, though: There's a lot of attention to detail (the notes, phone numbers, the main character's backstory), so the story and tone remain consistent. There's not much background noise, so when music or a sound effect suddenly plays, it heightens the suspense a lot. You can check your objective at any time in case you get lost while exploring and forget what you were supposed to be doing. And the last chapter actually explains enough of what's going on to provide a conclusive end (even if you predict what happened like I did). As a whole, I found this game mildly entertaining but flawed in some aspects. I recommend getting it on sale if you want to play it.

The trailer makes it seem so scary but it gets boring quickly. A lot of running around doing puzzles and are time consuming with very weak jumpscares. Respectfully, very mid game.
