About Quantum Replica

It's 2084, and the world bows to a ruthless corporate alliance known as the Syndicate. Under the flickering neon lights of an endless metropolis, citizens scratch out a living, fearful of mercenary armies and their faceless masters. Here, secrets are buried bitter and deep. Secrets that you must find.

Ultra-fast stealth adventure – which blends classic metal gear style cat-and-mouse espionage with neon-infused, time-bending cyberpunk action! Pounce from the shadows and manipulate time to take down enemies and avoid security undetected.

Move quickly and undetected in the shadow of time, Turn the tables on your oppressors with advanced technology and awakened skills. Bend time and space to your will, and uncover the deep dark secrets of the Syndicate.

Explore a cyberpunk world for clues about your past. Unlock a range of weapons, gadgets and abilities, which can be used to remain undetected, overcome security and deal with increasingly challenging enemy encounters.

Comprising of 5 distinct districts, each with their own unique challenges and environments. From gritty streets and rooftops patrolled by state police, to high-tech installations with tight security - keen reflexes and sharp wits are needed to stay one step ahead of the enemy.

Manipulate time to evade the all-seeing eyes of the city’s omnipresent AI and shake off the guards it sends after you. While exploring the city and looking for clues about your existence, you’ll discover powers that give you time-manipulation abilities.

Play as ‘alpha’, a fugitive on the run, with no recollection of your past. It’s up to you to infiltrate a shadowy government organisation to reclaim your memories and spark rebellion in a city firmly under the boot of the state.

Unlock special gadgets and abilities as you progress through the levels. From throwing empty bottles as a distraction for a stealthy approach - to disabling your enemies by launching a paralysing EMP grenade. How you choose to deal with the Syndicate is entirely in your hands.

The Syndicate is a powerfully secretive organisation, make sure you are prepared for the challenges ahead. Uncover the truth little by little in eliminating the corporations most advanced personnel, one by one.

Face off against tough bosses and enemy encounters in each district. With a flexible arsenal of gadgets and time-bending abilities, find unique strategies to take them down your own way.

Sometimes, less is more... When you have a mediocre, uncreative but serviceable stealth-action game, you could get away with it and earn a thumb-up. The stealth parts are decent. WHY on Earth do you think slapping on tough bossfights is improving the value of your product? If stealth and non-lethal approaches are encouraged 90% of the time, why would you want to face a bullet-sponge that will spray you and ram and bore the hell out of you? Add to that the awful design that prevents you from moving while aiming AND does not let you know where your aim is (start aiming and you will sometimes point in front of you, sometimes left, sometimes right), making short time-windows even shorter, then add the scarcity of ammo (gather as much lethal ammo as possible, never use any before the boss fight, win the fight with... barely any ammo left??), and what you have is a frustrating mess. Then add approximative hitboxes. Oh, and OF COURSE boss fights are introduced by a cutscene that will be seen again and again and again... What I've seen of the story oscillates between déja-vu and predictable, so there goes another motivator. I reached the end of the fourth mission (out of seven), but won…
So apparently it's not that bad as the reviews say. Top down action adventure with stealth as main driver. Gain new abilities and try to avenge revenge or whatever the system. Setting set in futuristic dystopia. Bad things now. AI sucks, but they run after you so quickly take them down or hide behind corner. Movement when pushing objects is messed up. Level design is not bad, allow for plenty of running. Might feel a bit empty at first but at least you run a lot. Soundtrack is ok. Gameplay is doing quests and try to disrupt and plant chaos in futuristic dystopia. Enemies can be shoot down with sleeping darts. Overall slightly recommended. 6-/10
Quite mediocre stealth action game where it is not rewarding not to kill because they can wake up after a short time.

Not worth your time, even when it's on sale for a dollar. The boss fights are atrocious (including a final boss that can heal itself, ugh) but even the stealth sections are mediocre at best, and annoying and repetitive at worst. At one point the main character, facing yet another gauntlet of land mines, sonar guards, patrol drones, and laser snipers, sarcastically says "Because it was so much fun the first few times!" I agree.
