What a game, what a game! I prefer, without exaggeration, a game like this over the majority of AAA games. It could use some polish, but love and care ooze from it. I will mention the lacking areas before gushing: CONS: translation could use a bit of work, but was serviceable the entire game; the hair clips often into the characters. THAT IS LITERALLY IT. PROS: most everything else. - the most obvious are the character designs, each one being gorgeous, but unique and color coordinated - said characters are not one-dimensional, with quirks of their own, quests and enough lines of dialogue - character quests are short, though some are a bit repetitive, and an attempt at variety was certainly made - it was absolutely darling to make the art from quests adorable, not horny. peak design - main quest and story is simple and a mite predictable, but quite compelling - game is connected to other works of the dev, but only tangentially, can be played blind - the fortress is amazing! fully unlocked, it feels cozy and warm without being cluttered, and it is neat to see tangible things coming from resources - Quality-of-Life additions: an orb to look for characters, a resource trade shop, w…
TLDR: Quality musou-style game with bounteous bosoms and a fetching home base. One dev did all this? One dev programmed, modeled, and animated 13 different fighters with 13 different move-sets? The same dev wrote a thin but coherent plot? Each girl has a distinct and memorable personality? This guy barely misses. There are some small flaws, of course. Some characters are hilariously OP while others are a meme, enemies can sometime get stuck out of bounds and bug out the friendly AI, the stock walking animation used in all scenes is simultaneously hilarious and eye-rolling. But nothing severe enough to damage the whole experience.
