Turn based combat is really bad ruins the whole game, while you can actually move around in combat it's pointless because no matter where you are in the combat area, they don't have to move and hit you...why give the option to move around if it doesn't matter if your 20ft away from a monster and they automatically able to hit you...it's retarded. If they remove the terrible turn based combat into a free attack style, I'll change my review but for now the turn based aspect makes it unplayable for me.

dev changed it to turn based. now it sucks. i spent like 20 hours in the meta quest version because my pc died and the new tun based combat sucks please change it back.

QUEST TOGETHER Online is a VR MMORPG that I think has a pretty good idea behind it. I start out as an adventurer in a small fantasy world where I can explore towns, take quests, fight monsters and work my way up through the adventurer ranks. What makes it different for me is that the social side is just as important as the RPG side. I can walk around town, customise my character, gather items, trade things and then head out into the world for quests. It feels more like a small virtual fantasy hangout than a massive MMO, which I actually think suits the game. The combat has changed quite a bit over the game's development, and the current system is much more active than the older turn based setup. Each fighter now has their own cooldown based on agility, and positioning affects how likely I am to be targeted. I like that because I have more reason to think about where I am standing instead of simply waiting for my turn. Battles can have up to four players, and I can build around different roles such as melee, ranged or support. I liked it when it was more Monster Hunter like. Bring that combat back.

I haven't played in a while but with the new updates I wanted to start over and see how it was. I liked the addition of the job classes. However, I am disappointed that when I selected the Archer class and bought a bow I am unable to damage any monsters with the Bow and Arrow. It is ineffective. For someone that wanted to play as an Archer, and now can not its very disappointing. My only option is to change my class and restart back at level 1.
