Rabbit Hole Chapter 1

There are some hidden items, puzzle solving and before you know it the first chapter is complete in an hour or so with a twist at the end. I haven't encountered any bugs or glitches. Aiming and shooting is a tad bit weird and remapping keys is not possible. Although this free chapter has just recently been released the game is already out. I might take a look at it in the near future following their regular updates.

Funny

I enjoyed this a lot - it has a very "whole is more than the sum of its parts" feel and the integrity and sincerity is there in making this a nice homage to silent hill, evil within and re. The voice acting is hilarious and the key loop, sense of atmosphere, and exploring is fun! The stealth actually works way better than you'd think and IS viable. I pulled off quite a few takedowns! Just needs some way of distracting or redirecting enemies as if they are facing your direction and there's no way to flank or hide good luck. Everything else tho is pretty dang raw. The gun feel and aiming is pretty bad in tight corners as the camera bugs out and the MC will just flip his aim if any obstacles are close. the enemies move quick and have pretty finicky reactions and animations that feel inconsistent leading to moments of bullet spongyness. Also while I love the VO there is so much that it gets really tedious (during cut scenes i mean) and characters could use a pass. During gameplay tho the quips are at worst fine and at best hilarious. End of day still a recommend for indie horror fans who love jank and appreciate sincere kicks at the can. Looking forward to the full game.

Repeat - Buggy AF, mandatory inventory items kept disappearing. forcing me to restart the entire game TWICE, before i got frustrated and quit entirely.
