A nostalgic throwback to Game Boy era platformers, pairing chiptune music, simple two-button controls, and one-hit deaths with tough but short stages This game feels like it was locked away for ages, with origins that trace back to the Game Boy era. When you start the game, you are welcomed by a small box in the middle of the screen, which can fortunately be expanded to full screen without losing any detail. There is also chiptune-like music and gameplay that revolves around just two keys. Aside from moving left and right, your only actions are jumping, including a double jump, and throwing shurikens. There are no restrictions or mechanics borrowed from modern games, such as stamina systems, so you can throw as many shurikens as you like. Despite its simple feature set and minimalist design, the game places a strong emphasis on difficulty, something many players who grew up with these kinds of titles will recognize immediately. The main challenge is that you can only take one hit. It does not matter whether the source is an enemy or an environmental hazard; the moment you touch anything, you dissolve into a cloud of smoke. This is closely tied to the game’s so-called limitation,…

A nice retro platformer with a lot of varied levels. Love the graphics. Quite short (1 hour) but fun to speedrun from time to time. I love the facts that I can play it on my computer as well as on my classical handheld. It looks pretty impressive on a real GBC modded with an IPS screen! Overall, it feels nostalgic of that time when we were kids and everything was lighter. I think it would have been an absolute hit if it came out during the golden age of the Game Boy. A nice obscure indie gem that should deserve more light.

This is a capital R Retro™ game. It really feels like an early GBC game, every inch. I respect the commitment.

A nice and charming Game Boy platformer. Reminds me of Warioland II. Love the pixel art and the design of the monsters.

Charming graphics but absurdly heavy controls to the point where i think a passenger plane could stop mid air faster than the character you play as in this game. Not all too good, sorry.
