Raccoons to Riches

I love it! Each run takes 45mins to 1+hr depending on difficulty, I love the setting and the music! Cards seemed balanced from first playthru, but have not tested higher difficulties. Character art is cute, I love the little raccoon guys!

I'm not sure the replayability is super high for me personally, but this is definitely worth the price of entry. It is very charming and it is really great to play a deckbuilder that takes such a unique mechanical approach in a wide sea of spire-likes, and it succeeds very much in integrating the mechanics into its theming in a great way.

A lot of the card-based games out there (including roguelites like this) are inspired by card games, but this is one of the few that feels like it actually could be a real tabletop card game. The card interactions are clear and well-defined (helped out by a nice tooltip system) but there is just enough complexity here to keep things engaging and interesting. It's quite easy to pick up and, on lower difficulties, is a fairly easy game. But, I feel like there's enough variety here to more than justify the modest asking price, so I highly recommend giving it a try!

Raccoons to Riches is a delightful roguelike deckbuilder that does a fantastic job of investing you into running a little shop and then quickly figuring out the best way to squeeze every last coin out of your clients to boost your deck and make the weekly rent. There's a lot of room to change your business strategies between each day as you craft, upgrade, and even buy your customers' items to try and turn them around for a profit, or visit the shoppe to restock your goods, court new clients, or grab a key tactic card. I've had a lot of fun on multiple runs slowly working my way up from selling basic items to high-tier goods - that combined with a deck of curated and upgraded tactics - sell for tens of thousands of coins and completely eclipse the weekly rent requirements. Plus, selling literal trash for thousands to some silly customer after you've haggled it to seem like like literal gold is a wonderful experience. Even at max difficulty, the game was very fair and fun to beat! If you're looking for a fun, approachable, and deep shopkeeper deckbuilder, Raccoons to Riches has plenty to offer!

A surprisingly interesting deckbuilder that had me on my toes a few times! There's plenty of ways to get the ball rolling for your shop, but the game is informative without being rambley with its tutorials, and it's pretty fun for a 2 hour or so session to pick what you do. The ability to always fuse cards together, be it a new thing or upgrade the item, or in some cases "de-curse" them from negative effects is a nice twist to satisfy the need almost any deckbuilder can scratch; Number go up. Not only that; Some of the customer designs are saucy =w= I appreciate the mercenary and landsknecht. Can't wait to see what else they update it with!
