Railroader

If you always wanted to have a virtual model railroad from the transition era (Steam to Diesel) that has customers and goals, this game is for you. It features a large variety of steam locomotives, and a few diesel units. It has passenger service, freight service, and logging. There is a little bit of a story line to give a purpose for there to be progression, but nothing immersive. You can do "Company (story) mode" or "Sandbox" There are mods out there for it, but no official mod support at this time. Runs very well on my machine - solid at 75 FPS (max refresh for my monitors) Specs Ryzen 5600x 32 GB RAM 2080ti 11GB Crucial NVME I enjoy the game and look forward to what the future holds for it.

i love the trains

After taking nearly 7 hours of playtime just to fully understand and figure out how the game works, I can say this is one of the best games when its comes to owning and operating a RR Company. The one main gripe I have with this game is the tutorial, It seems abit lacking in some aspects as there were many times during It I found myself looking up videos and guides on certain things that just aren't present in the tutorial.

Generally goated game

Love this game, no pressure to achieve any particular goal but a clear path for progression is there and you can play it how you like. Would love a version of this game based on the UK but nevertheless, this still ticks all the train enthusiast game boxes for me. This game is, in a way, similar to Derail Valley but this focuses much more on the railway management side of it rather than a purely driving and shunting game, although with the online mode this can also be achieved. Progress updates from developers are detailed and welcome, if infrequent; the future for this game is certainly exciting! Can't wait for the MOW update!

Man, idk. I think this game could be really great, and I know a lot of people love it, but I just can't get past the performance. The graphics are ok, but the performance in relation to them is not. It's just not a smooth experience and it's difficult to play it. I've tried, but the framerate/pacing...man, it's horrible. Maybe it's smoother if locked to 30fps, but I can't do that with an OLED. This is the only reason I'm disliking this; it has lots of locomotives, the smoke is done VERY well, it has a day/night cycle, there are all kinds of different cargoes... it's just that the looks of the game don't match the performance. And I'm talking ONE locomotive running; I can't even imagine multiple with AI engineers. I'm not giving up on this game, but I just can't play it until it runs better.
