Classic roguelike game, many characters available, a lot of different abilities, power-ups, encounters. Every run of the game is different from the previous. Very challenging fights, you need to carefully organize your team and your moves otherwise it will be very difficult to win, there's also an easy mode for more relaxed games. Really nice soundtrack, I hope new tracks will be added in the future!

This is definitely the roguelike for you if you're looking for something that has a bit more depth to it than your standard roguelike. With 16 characters in total (some you'll have to unlock) and only 4 slots to a party, there are a variety of party compositions that will each perform very differently from each other. Add in the tons of different gameplay-changing and stat-boosting relics you can acquire as you go, making you have to choose which one to equip them to for maximum effect, and each run is going to be very different from the last. The game is not nearly as complicated as someone else's gameplay or a trailer might make it out to look like. There are many systems in play (buff/debuff stacks, ailments, damage over time, shields, regens, crowd control, etc.), but if you're at all familiar with RPG mechanics, it will all make sense very quickly to you. Seven skills per character might seem like a lot at first, but as you play you'll learn that each has its place, and for those that you feel like don't, you're always able to swap them out for abilities you find when navigating the overworld. This soundtrack is awesome. It's currently only got 4 tracks in it, but they're al…

Rapture is a roguelite role-playing game developed and published by Platinum Star Games that blends classic dungeon-crawling mechanics with turn-based tactical combat and procedural exploration. Set within a mysterious dimension known as Rapture, the game presents a world where reality itself is under threat from a strange force capable of consuming entire timelines. Rather than focusing heavily on cinematic storytelling, the game emphasizes strategic gameplay, character progression, and the excitement of venturing into constantly changing dungeons. The result is an experience designed for players who enjoy thoughtful planning and the unpredictability that comes with roguelite adventures. The core gameplay revolves around assembling a party of adventurers and guiding them through randomized layers filled with enemies, treasures, upgrades, and unexpected events. Each expedition feels different thanks to procedurally generated maps and encounters, ensuring that players cannot simply memorize layouts or rely on a single strategy. This randomness keeps the gameplay loop fresh and encourages experimentation, as every run introduces new opportunities and dangers. The constant uncertaint…

Oh wow, a nice little diamond in the rough! It's a roguelike game. You play over and over, you unlock stuff for future runs. It's all pretty straightforward. The characters have a fair bit of personality, and the world setting let the designer go a bit nuts. So far, I've enjoyed the characters and combinations there. There's a ton of abilities per character, and even more that you can find in the field to swap out. The bad guys also have a rhythm. You need to learn that rhythm. If I were to complain about anything, it's that the artists really held back on boss encounters. Scale them up a bit, give them some barks that make them sound appropriately ferocious, and try to sell the "I'm fighting a big bad". I would also have liked seeing the randomly generated paths look more... flavor-ful. The paths are obvious, but instead of a repeating pattern it'd be cool to, you know, have forests or little mini-buildings or anything else kind of decorating the background. Overall, though? Easily, easily worth five bucks. A bit more polish and it'd be worth even more. Gonna beat the snot out of this one, and see if they're gonna do a sequel.

Fun little roguelike(ish) game that reminds me of FTL crossed with The Curious Expedition.

I was like, wtf! This looks awesome. Came down from my high about 10 mins later and realized there's some effort, just no awesome. Just no. 0.99 cents at best, Canadian, don't pay American. You can buy just about any other game like this, that's 10 dollars, that's just better. Sorry Amigo. You're way to late to the party and sporting these kinda graphics, your gameplay needs to be extremely innovative. I hope you do better with future ideas. Gameplay: Jesus, i'm not gonna bother, just read above, look at the graphics, look at the other two reviews that got the game free. Move on, pretty sure this game is just trolling.
