About Regain Earth: First Strike
Regain Earth: First Strike is a third-person Sci-Fi shooter game.
Take the tough challenge of surviving waves of increasingly difficult evil MuTecs (mutants & robots)! Grab a friend or two to hunt and slay them all. Crush each wave with help of randomly dropped weapons, gadgets and enhancements.
Achieve the top of the leaderboard! Earn rewards to unlock new game features, new maps and a lot of Steam Achievements!
This is a Community-driven solo-gamedev project. Help shape the future of this game! But don't expect the next Call of Duty from me. :-)
Stunning action awaits you and your friends in co-operative multiplayer! No long and boring storytelling! Not too complex! Just jump right into the action with your friends and enjoy the entertaining and challenging co-op wave shooter gameplay.

Collect scores over time to build up your loadout. Unlock Achievements, unlock more waves and unlock new character skins. Also unlock new maps, new boss fights, new grenades for your loadout and higher difficulty levels for a never-ending Regain Earth gaming experience.
300 years into the future, Earth is lost and YOU are the forefront of soldiers trying to get the upper hand against a very strong, unknown enemy in order to regain the earth.
As a self-taught (solo) indie game developer, I can't deliver AAA graphics, but I try to bring best A+ graphics and entertaining gameplay to your screen. Control your avatar, a futuristic soldier, in an awesome third-person perspective with lots of cool effects.
You don't like bloody games? No problem, switch to paintball mode.
You can fight as a lone wolf in Single-player or together with your friends in Multiplayer Co-Op mode to fight for humanity on earth! Achieve new high scores with your teammates and explore new weapons, tactics and weaknesses of your enemies together.

It's not bad. The shooting feels good and the graphics aren't bad at all. There are some cool enemies to fight but realistically, there isn't a whole lot of content. Given that the dev obviously has some talent, I would love for them to use this as a springboard to create a cool narrative experience. Well i love the idea of the game. its been done before but they have a good set up here. Its a bit ruff to start an the controls need some working with esp the controller optimization. I been playing solo an i do enjoy solo but this game is def meant for multi player. Not very easy to go far without a team mate I've come to find, sure you could tiptoe but you'll not do anything in a timely manner an that bores the game down. Witch brings me to my next point to say no one is playing the game :( . I looked for open games to find you'll search forever an not find one. Tried starting my own an host but no one joins. might have to take this to the forms page to get some friends to play with that are looking for the same thing. I'm a trophy hunter from PlayStation so now im here on steam doing the same with the games that provide them. i have a lot of catching up to do an look foreword to doing so. Ending note on the game. Its good for a shooter to kill time but nothing that great just yet. The devs need to keep working. Got the game on sale for like 4 bucks an that price im good with the game. Okay first off, I know this game is in Early Access, but there is just so many things that would never work and would never make this game shine if not reworked on. The biggest issue is that it lacks the fundamentals of a survival co-op game. Good example is the alien/zombie looking creatures. You HAVE to run around the map in order to kill them. They don't come to you, YOU come to them, and that concept defeats the whole purpose of making this a team co-op survival game. Like what?? it also makes it very boring for that reason because all you do is run all over the map in order to feel "slightly" threatened by them and to go into the next round. Also, some of the weapons during gun play is so outright bad when it comes to smoothness. Most of the weapons you pick up is pretty inaccurate, or has extremely slow projectile. Most of these weapons are more inaccurate than a storm trooper, no joke. But again, as I stated already, I think overall the number one killer of what makes this game bad is lacking the fundamentals of what a true survival co-op game should be despite it being in the early access.2 found this helpful
Very simple, very fun. Absolutely plan to sink more time into it. Only real complaint is that I would love to play this with four people, current max is three in a match. Might not be worth the asking price ($14 USD) at this point in time for some, but for me it is1 found this helpful
Game kinda sucks honestly. UI is awful with controller. Has some potential but it's just an amateurish unbalanced unoptimized mess as it is. I have a 3080Ti with a 13th gen I7 and 32gb 5600mhz ram and if I try to run it at max my card sounds like it wants to launch into space and FPS drops to 30. Poorly optimized is my point. Looking at the graphics, you would think my rig could crush this at max...nope. Aesthetic? Well you can see it. Meh...is all I can say imo. I feel like this engine is better suited to a different sort of attempted atmosphere and style but I wouldn't know what... Game play? Well, not optimized for controller but at least you can map the controls (though there are not enough buttons on a controller and for some reason Grenades are Up on D-pad by default and reload is B? wtf?)... You have four weapons to start with. Pistol, rifle, 2 grenades and a baton. Ammo seems unlimited. The baton does nothing at all but you can swing it desperately. You have a scanner ability to help find enemies and you will need it. Walking is brutally slow, and running is only moderately better. Guns feel weak. Jumping is mostly useless.
