Some golden nuggets, and some smelly turds, but always a good time: Gameplay/Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0q93kmiQCw There are solid bones here for a potentially good game. But right now they are only bones. Needs more enemy variety, class, weapon, magic, etc. What's here is fine but it's not enough imho to justify $5.1 found this helpful
For this price, what it offers can be considered good-ish? The game's replayability is close to nill. Now, it does challenge you with a leaderboard and achievements to keep playing and grind more and more. I think I tried out all the weapons and spells and fought against every single mob and boss the game threw at me. Each round feels random generated, don't know if it is or just rotates between a bunch of maps with the same exact assets. The game is minimalist in design to the point that you would think that it's a simple project made in the weekend after finishing your courses in the respective game engine. Now, why did I give this game a recommended review? Well, I'm hopping the devs will give this game something more than just a simple minimalist aspect. More mobs to kill, better designs, more weapon types, better control, and more bosses, more maps, more everything. Right now, it's a demo of an endless hack and slash game and a possible concept with a good future ahead of it IF it goes beyond what it's already implemented. Maybe I'm just a hopeless idealist and the devs won't ever implement any of what I just wrote and make the game better. In that case... It's a hard no reco…1 found this helpful
Well... Its hardly playable, there is minimal to no variety. The replayability is practically zero, the rolls feel so off and the sword swings are clunky. The procedural generation just feels like a lazy excuse to only make half of a game. The enemies are horribly bland, I've fought three bosses one of which swung his fists like any base mob, another summoned a bunch of things that swing their fists, and finally the one boss with two skills that were horribly bland. Its just plain and simple not fun, and not good.1 found this helpful
