Relumine is a beautifully crafted puzzle game that most players praise for its unique mechanics, excellent pacing, and thoughtful design that challenges without frustrating. Common complaints center on control issues, particularly with keyboard and mouse setup where button mapping can feel unintuitive, though controller play seems smoother. Overall, players consistently recommend it as a worthwhile, meditative puzzle experience despite its limited visibility.
This game is fantastic! I love puzzle games and this one is excellent. New mechanics don't hang around and get boring to use. Everything is doled out at a perfect pace. The visuals, sound design, music, subtle story, and puzzle mechanics are all really great. I'm over 2 hours in and I'm in the (I think) final area of puzzles. So, for the price, this game is absolutely worth buying. Do it! Edit: I just completed the game. It took me about 2.5 hours. I really enjoyed it overall. If it looks good to you, and you like puzzle games with unique mechanics, you absolutely should buy Relumine.4 found this helpful
Wow. Relumine is an absolutely magical game experience. Beautiful art, fluid movement, a touching story, and some of the most unique and inspired mechanics I've ever seen in a game. If you love puzzle adventures, this one is top tier. It encourages you to use your brain without causing unnecessary stress or anxiety. I think this is mostly due to the fact there's no "death" or frustrating timers artificially increasing difficulty, meaning you can take all the time you need to figure out the game's genius puzzles. "Genius" because they make you feel like a genius when you solve them, and yet they never feel unfair or overly convoluted. Furthermore, the game's perspective-altering mechanics never get stale as they continue to evolve in organic ways. And with a runtime on the shorter side (just a few hours), the game doesn't overstay its welcome and leaves you wanting more (in the best of ways). I can't recommend Relumine enough. It's literally a steal for the price. 10/102 found this helpful
I gave up after 15 minutes of very awkward controls. Had to be played with controller rather than mouse, but trying to rotate the platforms was very clunky and took multiple attempts for something that should have been simple. Plus the “A” button kept taking me back to the menu and it wanted me to use “B” for actions instead. Gave up and asked for a refund.1 found this helpful
This is a lovely little moving tile puzzle game. Challenging enough to give the brain a modest workout but even the hardest puzzles can be solved with some careful thought and informed trial-and-error. Moves on to new mechanics and settings swiftly so no one element outstays its welcome. A brisk but gentle puzzler.
Pretty good game. Now I wonder why nobody play it. I search online about it. Saw dev posted game releasing on Reddit, and nobody respond.
Fun, mellow
