Rescue the Hostages: Cryptic Countdown is a high-pressure FMV thriller where you must solve timed word scramble challenges to disarm a bomb and save trapped hostages.A live-action FMV sequence unfolds in real time, with the bomb’s timer synced directly to the game. You have ten minutes to unscramble 20 words before the countdown reaches zero.The game features three escalating levels, each introducing a new group of hostages and increasingly difficult word scrambles. This is exactly the game you get from watching the trailer. It's essentially hangman / scrabble but with a bomb and hostages. After level one....oh boy, you will need a friend or two! I did this with two other people and it was damn near impossible. If you want a crazy challenge, then this is for the word scramble master only! Enjoyed it for what it was, a fun quick game that you can pull up when you want to tease the brain.3 found this helpful
High-pressure world scramble game. The FMV part is more like a creative choice than a gameplay element. You have 10 minutes to solve 20 of them, then the next level starts (from the three) with longer words. How fun! (It is not, you need perfect English to solve one world in 30 sec. I love trying to unscramble words and was excited to play this game. I found it to be fun yet stressful lol. I played repeatedly and enjoyed trying to figure out all of the words, but struggled and definitely needed help. If you like a challenging word scramble game, check it out :).
