Resistance TD

[h1]Warning - Asset Flip[/h1] "Resistance TD" is (mostly) an asset flip of [url=https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/tools/game-toolkits/tower-defense-toolkit-4-tdtk-4-91023]Tower Defense Toolkit 4 (TDTK-4)[/url] by SongGameDev. I say "mostly" because while the foundation is unchanged the "developer" at least bothered to create a bunch of custom maps for his game. However, that's not to say the game isn't terrible and a waste of your time and money. Since the TDTK-4 asset pack is pretty solid it's extremely easy to quickly whip up some levels, but that's not all game development involves, right? Let's see: - there's no progression at all, you just select a level to play, that's it - there's no tutorial so unless you are well versed in TD games you'll end up getting absolutely creamed even on the first map - all information is displayed in a terrible custom font that's hard to read - balance is pretty much nonexistant - visuals are an ugly hodgepodge of assets from various sources including the default assets included in TDTK-4 (which obviously don't match anything) Its pretty safe to assume the "developer" here is pretty young (the halloween level kinda gives that away) so ta…

A competently made Tower Defense title. Graphics are minimal but very good and there is a challenge to be had with the placement a positioning of towers. Wouldn't mind the ability to zoom out a bit more. Still needs a bit of work for a few more "bells and whistles", but for an initial release its fairly promising.

Basic, minimalist tower defense game. One boosts it's neighbors, one slows the enemy, missile only shoots air units, then you have machine gun, bean laser and cannon, which has an AOE attack. Six towers, seems like they can each be promoted twice, with no interesting option. There is no controlling the attackers path in any way, no advancement, no strategic upgrades or tactical attacks. About as blah as it can be. While everything works, it has no flavor, and nothing really to say for itself. A tepid thumbs down.
